(More customer reviews)I have had these boots for 3 months. I use them for work boots, and have them on five to six days a week. They are made out of good quality heavy lether, and my pair has the steel toe. These are not light weight boots, they are more like armor for your feet. They fit like a pair of western boots, with the addition of a leather strap accross the arch - which I think makes for a tighter more secure fit.
I have seen reviews that say the boots gave them blisters and that they never broke in well - I think that must be a case of ordering the wrong size boot. These boots pretty much fit as sized. If you have a wide foot - order the wide size - if you have a really wide foot order the doulble wide, and the lenght is the same as any shoe size you would normally order - if you wear 11 1/2 shoes - order these boots in that size. I did put a pair of "Super Feet" inserts in my pair because I needed extra arch support.
When you first get these boot the leather is stiff and they may slide around a bit on your feet. I found that the heel was floppy and loose when I first put the boots on, but they never caused me to have any blisters - even when they were brand new, and I worn them all day long. After about three weeks the boots began to mold to my feet, and after three months of frequent wear, they feel like a pair of custom boots that were made specificaly to fit my big old feet.
These are well made, comfortable, American boots - if you want a pair of top notch American work boots -- buy them --- Oh, and I guess they would work pretty good on a motorcycle as well.
